About the LaparoTrainer

The LaparoTrainer is built in a portable aluminum suitcase - easy to move around or to take home and do exercises, to prepare for surgery next day – all you need apart from the LaparoTrainer is a table and a socket. The LaparoTrainer is easily opened/unfold and the flat screen is elevated to eyes level; to make your working position identical to the position you take in the operating room.

 Using a standard digital video camera in the LaparoTrainer makes the image sharp and crystal clear at a reasonable price.

To make the outcome of your training on the LaparoTrainer even more relevant it is possible to use the same surgical instruments which are being used in the operating room, to get familiar with them. Using real surgical instruments in the LaparoTrainer also gives a realistic “touch and feel” which is not provided in virtual reality simulators.
